Faith And Patience
HEBREWS 6:12 NKJ
12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who
through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Patience is not just putting up with things.
Patience means to continue, to persevere, to stay steady, to
maintain your course, to not grow weary in doing good and quit.
Patience is a fruit of the spirit, so to walk in Bible patience
you must keep your spiritual life strong, by feeding on the
Word and fellowshiping with God.
We receive from God by faith, but our faith has to be
undergirded by patience to possess and enjoy His promises.
It's normal for there to be a time of waiting and testing when
we believe the promises of God. But hang on to your faith and
it will see you through.
JAMES 5:10-11 NIV
10 Brothers, as an example of patience in the face of
suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.
11 As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered.
You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the
Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and
mercy.
God's Word will come to pass in your life. Don't quit
believing.
Hang in there!

Faith Is The Victory
1 JOHN 5:4 NKJ
4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is
the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.
We all love to win.
Victory is sweet. One reason it's so sweet is that it's usually
not easy. Victory takes effort -- often great effort.
Effort is also required in the spiritual battle of good against
evil we are all engaged in. But the effort required of us is to
maintain our attitude of faith in God and His Word.
We cannot overcome the strategies of the devil by our
willpower, or by our own strength. We must use the spiritual
weapons God has provided for us.
As a child of God -- you are a winner! The victory is already
yours through what Jesus Christ did on your behalf. Don't let
the enemy steal the victory away from you.
Your enemy comes to steal your faith. Don't let it happen.

Faith
by Anne R. C. Neale
Love, Faith, Hope, and Trust,
Are the foundations of our Spirit and Soul,
We need to reinforce everyone of these things,
They are a treasure for us all.
We should never lose sight of Faith you see,
God's with us every step of life's way,
He loves us unconditionally too,
And He listens to what we do and we say,
Keep Faith in your heart, and love everyone,
Keep Hope and Trust in your life too,
These are important to maintain every day,
They are treasures given by Him to you.

Out of Gas |
 |
 |
A
nun who works for a local home health care agency was out making her
rounds when she ran out of gas. As luck would have it there was a
station just down the street. She walked to the station to borrow a
can with enough gas to start the car and drive to the station for a
fill up.
The attendant regretfully told her that the only can he owned
had just been loaned out, but if she would care to wait he was sure it
would be back shortly.
Since the nun was on the way to see a patient she decided not to
wait and walked back to her car. After looking through her car for
something to carry to the station to fill with gas, she spotted a
bedpan she was taking to the patient. Always resourceful, she carried
it to the station, filled it with gasoline, and carried it back to her
car.
As she was pouring the gas into the tank of her car two men
walked by. One of them turned to the other and said: "Now that is what
I call faith!"

A Very Faithful Woman |
 |
 |
An
elderly lady was well-known for her faith and for her boldness in
talking about it. She would stand on her front porch and shout "PRAISE
THE LORD!"
Next door to her lived an atheist who would get so angry at her
proclamations he would shout, "There ain't no Lord!!"
Hard times set in on the elderly lady, and she prayed for GOD
to send her some assistance. She stood on her porch and shouted
"PRAISE THE LORD. GOD I NEED FOOD!! I AM HAVING A HARD TIME. PLEASE
LORD, SEND ME SOME GROCERIES!!"
The next morning the lady went out on her porch and noted a
large bag of groceries and shouted, "PRAISE THE LORD."
The neighbor jumped from behind a bush and said, "Aha! I told
you there was no Lord. I bought those groceries, God didn't."
The lady started jumping up and down and clapping her hands
and said, "PRAISE THE LORD. He not only sent me groceries, but He made
the devil pay for them. Praise the Lord!"
